When using the download links, Firefox reports that the file contains malware or a virus. Are these files safe or is there another location to download them from?

Which version of Firefox are you running? I would trust an actual virus-protection system far more than I would trust a browser, but I can look into it.

Thanks @ronlo. I am using Firefox 50.1.0.

Hi, looks like this also happens in Chrome. It looks like the CodePlex download links for all CodePlex downloadable files has been added to a list, I think Google SafeBrowsing, or something similar, which causes these browsers to throw this error when trying to download. I tried downloading other CodePlex files and I get the same error/warning. I'm still investigating.

@E3RaxPlan - The Codeplex team has filed a bug on this issue and someone has been assigned as it appears to be affecting more than just this download. I'm not sure when it will be resolved from Codeplex's side but I would suggest what @ronlo suggested, which was to validate the download with an actual virus protection, if you need the download.
