RESOLVED - I'm trying to work through the implementation of the Ajax Minifier using the manifest approach along with a Web Deployment project. Does it make sense to provide a simple sample solution for download? I'm finding that the AjaxMin.Targets has
an "AfterTarget" attribute that is not allowed.
Still have some additional work to do but I've been able to get some minification to work. For other newbies I had to do the following:
- AjaxMin.targets and AjaxMinTask.dll are the object that I'm using.
- AjaxMin.targets required $(MSBuildExtensionsPath) prefix plus rest-of-path pointer to the .dll, In my environment I had to play with the security of the file so that I could maintain it.
- AjaxMin.targets required a change from attribute @AfterBuild to @DependsOnTargets
- I used the code from
https://ajaxmin.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=AjaxMinTask in my deployment project and will be continuing with the approach discussed in Turlov's article.
